From the beginnings of Portugal, the area of Ourém has developed a lot of its economic activity based on the culture of the vine and wine.
With the influence of the Cistercian Monks, who shared their knowledge of their own vinification methods, they transformed Ourém into a land renowned for its unique wines. Divinis – Agroproductos de Ourém comes to perpetuate and continue this precious and vivid wine tradition.
In 2006 a group of businessmen of the Municipality acquires the Wine Cellar of Ourém, rejuvenating this tradition, creating noble wines and worthy of this historical capital.
